In response to your comment to my
comment, I want to start with your first statement which is based on the topic
of what “classifications one may assume you fall into”: I want to start by
saying, I do hope you know what you classify yourself as because if you do not
understand the difference between those three terms that you have described and
you say that you are classified by those three, then we have a serious problem
right from the get-go. However, if you were being sarcastic then we can move
on; the two biggest political parties that our nation respects are the
Democratic and Republican parties. The difference between these two parties is
that the Democratic Party believes in a stronger central government through
tighter regulations whereas, the Republican Party believes in less government
regulation and power in order for people with small businesses to thrive. Now,
just because these two parties exist does not mean one another hate each others’
guts. In short, Republicans and Democrats need to work together in order for
anything to get done so there is no possible way for each other to completely
hate each other. However, what we currently have is a government failure based
on the fact that the Senate is not willing to negotiate with the House. Now, I
can say this because it is true. The House did introduce a compromise to the
stalemate in Congress by agreeing to fund all other government programs except
the Affordable Care Act. Congress would postpone this program for one year so
that they could debate it without interfering in the lives of the people.
However, the Senate refused this generous offer and specifically said: “If we
can’t have it then we will all suffer, including the House”. This is not a
biased opinion. This is a factual statement based on true events that have
taken place. So, it is true that some news programs are very biased and try to influence
the people to draw bad conclusions, but regardless, we must be able to see the
truth through all the white lies since we are, after all, functioning and
thinking humans. Oh and by the by, when I say “wake up Americans” I am obviously
talking about the people who have no idea what I’m talking about right now. That’s
number one. Number two, I do believe you fail to see the reason as to why the
House has refused to fund the Affordable Care Act. Now, before I go into the
reasons as to why, I want to ask you to search up and explain to me as to why
they should pass this law? Why is it so good? President Obama was at the
University of Michigan trying to rally up support for the law but when asked
the question, he had no answer. So maybe you can explain to me better than the
man who is betting his entire presidential term on it. Also, on your comment
about former president Bush, it is true that he bailed out the auto companies
but, do you even know why he did this? Do you understand the reason as to how
the auto companies got into that situation in the first place? Of course not
because no one explains that part. They cover that up and blame it all on Bush
because that’s the easiest thing to do. The reason as to how the auto companies
got into that situation was based on the regulations that the Democrats in the government
implemented just like those in Atlas Shrugged. So, Bush was only doing what any
smart Republican would do, trying to keep Western Civilization afloat. To end
it off, I would like to say that President Obama is not crazy, he is evil and a
liar who makes hundreds of promises but doesn’t keep a single one.
Thanks for your concern of my knowledge of classifications and the background of what each political party stands for. I was being sarcastic and do not fall into any classifications, and took AP government, so I think I’m good on the basics of what it means to be a Republican versus Democrat. The two parties get along as well as oil and water shaken up in a bottle. A law has passed, but they should negotiate and put it off for another year and talk it out. Nothing is so absolute. They have to make compromises and do favors for each other and make trade offs so everyone is happy right. We must do it for the sake of the people! Sound familiar? And my apologies to thinking that the title “Wake up America” was meant to address to America. I know why Republicans are against the Affordable Care Act and I know why Democrats support it, aside from it being necessary for them to think of the success of their political career. I think its good because even if I am a better basketball player then Emily, I wouldn't think she ‘deserves’ more time on the court, but if she broke her arm, or had cancer, I wouldn’t think I deserve the right to be treated any more or then her right. I have many family members who don’t have health care, and the security it will give them and the family is extremely positive. Maybe if you’ve always had that security, you don’t appreciate its value. I hope that it does not bother you that those reasons are selfish and for my personal interest but that is my answer to “why it is so good”. I would bet that Obama spends a great deal of his time explaining his support for this law which for some reason is nicknamed after him, but thats all speculation right. Bush is the reason for keeping Western Civilization afloat? That’s a new one to me. It was afloat before he became president and afloat when he left so I don’t believe he really did much to alter the entire state of Wester Civilization’s “afloatness”. If he had the authority to authorize a $17.4 billion auto bailout, why didn’t he just use his authority to change those horrible and regulations which caused the necessary industries failure in the first place. I am shocked to hear that a politician is believed to not keep his promises. What else is new.
