The Love Triangle

As I first began to read the novel, the first character introduced as Dagny's lover was Fransisco D'Anconia.  It was an odd relationship that seemed to be bound solely on their business partnerships and plans that they both seemed to have imagined for each other. As time passed and they matured, their relationship matured with them and grew more serious than the childhood relationship they previously had. Fransisco traveled from the college he attended to all the way back to visit his father in South America and always back to visit Dagny. She would constantly look forward to his unexpected visits and cherish the little time they had to sped together. Whenever Fransisco was not visiting, Dagny would constantly receive letters from him filling her in on all of the things that would go on with his life. Soon enough, the visits and letters came by with greater gaps in between, until one day they completely stopped. All the information that Dagny had left of Fransisco D'Anconia was  the news of his parties and girlfriends that she read on the paper.
Dagny soon developed a hate towards Fransisco for leaving her with so many unanswered questions, and quickly found herself falling for Hank Rearden once they began to work together. Despite the fact that Rearden was married, the two were constantly spending time together due to the fact that they were such a perfect fit and got along so well. Although some people soon found out about the affair, it was still kept a secret from many others; especially Fransisco D'Anconia. Fransico and Rearden had developed a strong bond with each other until Fransisco double crossed him. After that incident, Rearden could not stand the sight of his presence.
As Dangy returned from her stay in the cabin away from her office, Fransico, whom had admitted to Rearden that he'd always loved her, went to see Dagny and make sure she was alright. As Rearden walked in with the same purpose as Fransisco, the three were caught in an uncomfortable position, a complicated love triangle. Fransisco realized that Rearden had been sleeping with Dagny when he saw that he had his own key to her place, and after arguing with Rearden about his visit to his apartment, he promised to leave the apartment and leave Dagny alone.
After that, Hank and Dagny continued to see eachother until Dagny quickly found herself in Mulligans Valley, finally meeting John Galt. Even though Hank and Dagny have an established relationship, Dagny and Galt already seem to have a distinct connection between them after only spending a day together. Galt explains to Dagny that Fransisco has already been to the Valley, and that soon Rearden will be there too. Regardless of both of their presences there, I believe that Dagny will end up falling for Galt, and a new life and relationship will commence between them away from the world that Dagny once knew.
