Hanks problem

Wendell Pfeffer
Reaction: Atlas Shrugged

It is apparent that after reading an abundance of chapters from the book the primary sole purpose of business owners is to increase their revenue. Even though many business owners are in denial about this notion - it is to good to be true. Business owners like Orren Boyle think they are entitled to a share of Rearden Metal, why? Well its because he thinks that he will serve the public in a manner that deems much more efficient than Hank. But if you look at it the other way, if Orren Boyle were to invent a product so revolutionary he would not want to share it with the public, especially his rivals. Like Hank said “I work for nothing but my own profit, I earn it.” Hank works hard to benefit himself not the public and he has the right do so. Even the government tries to bring him down, they take him to court and even try to impose rules that affect him directly. Hank has to fight for the well being of his business and his metal. Everyone is trying to take his metal away from him, the material that he longed worked for to achieve. It isn’t fair what is happening to Hank, everyone is against him even the government. Hanks metal has turned other successful business owners and even the government into “looters.” For example the Science State Institute and its relation to project X. They need Hanks metal but Hank refuses to sell it to them because of the problems they caused him in the past. Now that Hank knows that he won the Science State Institute tries to do everything possible to steal his idea from him. Right now the book is unpredictable, I have no idea what is going to occur in the next few chapters. Hopefully things will go in Hanks favor.
